Overview
The workshop will commence with a reception on Tuesday, October 15 at the workshop hotel La Jolla Shores Hotel. Workshops will be held at the hotel on Wednesday and Thursday, October 16-17. A Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday evening for all Workshop participants.
Meeting Locations
Reception: October 15th, 6pm
A welcome reception/registration will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 6:00pm in the La Jolla Shores Hotel.
Workshop (Day 1): October 16th, 8am-5pm
The full-day workshop will be held onsite at the La Jolla Shores Hotel.
Gala Dinner: October 16th, 7pm-9pm
A Gala Dinner will be held on Wednesday, October 16th at the Marine Room restaurant in La Jolla. The restaurant is a 10 minute walk (0.5 miles) from the hotel.
Workshop (Day 2): October 17th, 8am-5pm
The full-day workshop will be held onsite at the La Jolla Shores Hotel.
Transportation
Most BDEC attendees will be flying into San Diego International Airport. Transportation from the airport to the workshop hotel, La Jolla Shores Hotel, is available by taxi cab, car service, or rental car. Travel time from the airport to the hotel should take around 20 minutes (18 miles), depending on traffic.
Taxi Cabs
Taxi Cabs are available at the airport, and will cost ~$40 for a one way trip from the airport to the hotel.
Shuttle Services
Shuttle services are available for advance reservation to/from the airport/hotel for approximately $30 one-way. Reserving a shuttle is a great way to ensure that your ride is confirmed at the airport. These services must be arranged in advance.
